West Hollywood, California Boutique Cocktail Lounge + Dining Concept
Grover Studio Concept Project Noir House
West Hollywood, California
Boutique Cocktail Lounge + Dining Concept
PROJECT OVERVIEW
Noir House was envisioned as a modern hospitality concept blending cinematic atmosphere, sculptural materials, intimate lighting, and elevated dining into a single immersive environment.
Designed as a hybrid cocktail lounge and late-night dining experience in West Hollywood, the project was built around emotion, contrast, and sensory experience.
The goal was to create a space that felt timeless, artistic, and socially magnetic — a destination where guests would remember not just the food or drinks, but the feeling of being inside the space.

DESIGN DIRECTION
The design language for Noir House focused on restraint, atmosphere, and texture.
Instead of relying on trend-heavy luxury, the space was designed to feel grounded, intentional, and emotionally immersive.
Warm plaster walls, smoked oak, dark stone, aged brass, natural linen textures, and ambient architectural lighting created a layered environment that shifts throughout the night.
Every design decision centered around creating emotional contrast:
darkness and warmth
intimacy and openness
refinement and raw texture
stillness and energy
The result is a hospitality environment that feels cinematic without becoming overwhelming.
